I had worked All Wash of Syracuse, and Scott brought me on to work with Sage group. Working from company painter, demolition foreman, construction supervisor,and Safety officer, all due to this great man, calling him uncle Scott, because his son Brian.he was like a uncle, he could give advice as well as take it. It was a sad day I had to leave the company,to go back to NY. Without a job, Scott recommend me to several companies. Truely a man among men. Dearly miss our time I had with Scott.

I am very sorry about the lose of a great man. I worked at Sage Co. and I have worked in his home, painting, in side & out . I especially remember his little dog Kelly. Scott was a special person and will be missed by everyone who had the
pleasure of knowing him.

You never lose touch with your childhood friends no matter how infrequently you get to see each other.  So glad they got to spend time together the past few weeks. I miss my big brother. So so sad I will not be able to talk,hug,laugh,cry,share, all the things that we all do. I can't wait to see him in heaven. I love you Scott.

Scott was my big brother and I looked up to him my whole life. words can't express how much I am going to miss him and the daily conversations we would have about everything under the sun. In our later years Scott and I became traveling companions, journeying to such far flung destinations as Chile, Argentina and Antarctica. Memories of a perfect day rafting the Snake river in Wyoming will stay with me forever. Prayers to Donna his beloved wife, Jeff and Brian his treasured sons and their families.

So sorry to hear of your loss.  Though I didn't know your Dad well, I knew I was always welcome at your house.  I also appreciated his taste in cars.   My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family during this difficult time.

It appears that my entry of Saturday did not go thru and I know that my heart would not rest unless I followed up .Our sympathy to you, Danna, and your family, I'd be remiss if I didn't include my "other brothers" Gary a Mark also. By fate Bill was in town this weekend and we both shed some tears as we remembered our "Brother Scott" and a life long accumulation of memories never to be forgotten. Although we regret that we cannot make the memorial service, please know that we will certainly be there in spirit and that our spirits will always be united in friendship, "brotherhood" and love.

Donna: Please accept my sincere heart-felt sympathy and add my voice to the chorus of Westhill class of '64. I am grateful that we all got to see him in July,2014. He will be fondly remembered.

Some people go through life and are blessed to have found some that make a difference. Scott was one of them, he was not only a boss and mentor but a friend. When he made his journey south and brought his flock to the triangle he opened doors for so many of us, and an "Open Door " policy was the way he worked. You never felt uncomfortable walking by his office and popping your head in the door,(sometimes you wouldn't get out for a while). He helped so many of us grow make friends for life. The Sage "family" was not only a business but a way of life. RIP Scott and to Donna and the boys our hearts go out to you all.

There will always be a special place in our hearts for Scott, he was my boss, my mentor and my friend. He would get the best out of you because you knew he cared. I watched many employees walk through his door in times of need and he would help them anyway he could. They say everyone leaves a foot print in the sand, but few leave a place on your heart.
