

Thomas Aaron Smith, 23, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Thursday, July 7, 2011. He was born on September 4, 1987 to Thomas A. (Tommy) Smith and Ann Lewter Bobbitt. Aaron was a graduate of Apex High School. He had a smile and manner that was unforgettable. He was the son that never left without a hug and expressing his love. He lived life to the fullest with truth and compassion. So many wonderful memories. His special friends will always carry a special piece of Aaron. His spirit will live on inside our hearts. No more worries no more pain. His Christian faith was always present and apparent. He leaves the home he purchased on earth to a new home in heaven. God knows the why. May his comfort be with all of you.
Aaron is survived by his mother: Ann Bobbitt and husband, Ken of Cary; father: Tommy Smith and wife, Donna of Siler City; brothers: Michael Smith of Siler City and Hardy Bobbitt of Cedar Grove; sisters: Jennifer Stevens and husband, John of Raleigh and Faith Burgess and husband, Wes of Raleigh; maternal grandmother: Gretha Lewter of Apex; and step Grandparents: Ray and Lucille Cooke of Cary. He is also survived by his nephew; Johnny Stevens.
The family will receive friends from 12 – 2 Monday, July 11, 2011 at Apex Funeral Home, 550 W. Williams St. Apex. A funeral service will be held at 2 pm in the Chapel of Apex Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Apex Cemetery.
