Walter Amie DuPont Jr.

He was born on September 21, 1951 in Rockford, IL. Wally was a US Army Veteran and member of the Loyal Order of Moose Sanford NC Lodge 86. He was a lifetime pipefitter and most recently had careers as a Construction Project Manager and Superintendent.

Wally is joining his parents Walter, Sr. & Rose Devine Dupont; brother Phil; sister Sue; and daughter Elizabeth in Heaven.

Wally leaves on this side of Heaven his wife and soulmate Sheryl; daughter Amy; son Jason; grandson Ethan; brother Donald; sisters Madeleine, Mary, Martha, Monica; sister-in-laws Dee and Vivian; brother-in-laws Bob, Cal, and Jack; niece Megan; and his beloved felines, Tony and Mimi. Numerous cousins, nieces, nephews and friends are located across the country and around the world.

We thank God for the time He allowed us to share Wally’s life. We will forever remember and miss him.

A memorial service will be held 1pm Saturday, August 22, 2015 at Apex Funeral Home, 550 W. Williams Street, Apex, NC 27502. The family will receive friends immediately following the service.
