William Edmund Larkin, Jr. 83, of Cary, died Sunday, May 18, 2014. Mr. Larkin was born in Providence, RI on July 2, 1930 to William Edmund Larkin and Mildred Berry Larkin. He graduated from the University of Rhode Island with a BS in Civil Engineering. Mr. Larkin was a member of the American Society of Civil Engineers.
He is survived by his daughter: Alice Larkin of Middlesex, NC; brothers: Richard P. Larkin of Providence, RI and Dennis A. Larkin of Bismarck, ND; grandchildren: Eric J. Williams, Andrew S. Williams and Anna M. Delvo.
A memorial service will be held 11:00 am Tuesday, May 27, 2014 at Apex Funeral Home, 550 W. Williams St. Apex. Inurnment will be in St. Matthew’s Catholic Cemetery, Durham, NC.
