

Anissa Arianna Mitchell passed away on April 26, 2026, at the age of 29. Born on August 26th, 1996, she was known for her compassion, warmth, radiant energy, and unwavering dedication to helping others. Her presence was truly infectious, and she had a rare gift of making everyone she met feel heard, included, loved, and genuinely appreciated. She touched the lives of many and will be dearly missed by her family, friends, colleagues, and all who had the privilege of knowing her.
Anissa is deeply loved and remembered by her mother, Vanessa; her grandparents, Peter and Rose; her brothers, Alex, Luis, Martin, and Marcel; her sister, Estrella; her niece, Averi; her nephew, Dominic; and her cousins, Vhanyk, Alanna, and Vhalhallah. Her life was characterized by her deep love for her family, friends, colleagues, community, and dogs.
Anissa dedicated her life to supporting others and advancing equity in education. She guided and uplifted countless students and passionately advocated for inclusion, opportunity, and success for all. She believed that everyone deserved to be seen, supported, and given the chance to succeed, and she carried that mission with heart in everything she did.
Anissa loved spending time with her family and dogs, traveling, and creating meaningful experiences for those around her, often serving as the planner who made every gathering special. Anissa will be remembered for her kindness, honesty, radiant spirit, and ability to uplift and inspire others. She was a true friend, a guiding light, and a beautiful soul whose impact will live on in the countless lives she touched.
Visitation will be held at Sunset Hills Mortuary, 24000 Waalew Road, Apple Valley, CA 92307, US, on May 18, 2026, from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm.
A Prayer Service will take place at Holy Innocents Catholic Church, 13230 El Evado Rd, Victorville, CA 92392, US, on May 19, 2026, from 10:30 am to 11:00 am, followed by the Funeral Service at the same location on May 19, 2026, from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm.
A Committal Service will be held at Sunset Hills Memorial Park, 24000 Waalew Road, Apple Valley, CA 92307, US, on May 19, 2026, from 1:00 pm to 1:30 pm.
