Audon Pacheco Chavez Jr.

Audon Pacheco Chavez Jr (Don), age 83, of Victorville, California passed away on Thursday, September 7, 2023. Audon was born on August 19th,1940 in Veguita, New Mexico. He was preceded in death by his wife Arlene Chavez, and son Johnny Chavez. He is survived by his daughter Donna Archuleta, son Alfred Chavez, and daughter Laura Chavez, his five grandchildren Julie Catris, Candace Roybal, Eric Archuleta, Johnny (Keoni) Chavez, Brandon Parks, and nine great grandchildren, also many nieces and nephews, he is also preceded in death by his parents Audon Chavez Sr and Estella Chavez, his seven siblings whom he is preceded in death by all.

He was a devoted husband and father, he worked for Bethlehem Steel and retired from there after 26 years. He then went on to do other work after retiring, where he did janitorial work for 20 years.

He loved riding motorcycles, camping, fishing, traveling, concerts in the park, he had a big passion for music, slot machines, barbecuing, fixing cars, riding bicycles, and waving hi to everyone.

He had a great sense of humor, he was a kind and gentle soul, a great friend and will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

A funeral service for Audon will be held Friday, September 29, 2023 from 11:00 AM to 1:30 PM at Sunset Hills Mortuary, 24000 Waalew Road, Apple Valley, CA 92307. Reception to follow at Gold West Mobile Home Park Clubhouse located at 15252 Seneca Rd. Victorville, CA 92392
