Carolyn Joyce Shaw

Carolyn Joyce Shaw was born in Nogal, New Mexico on April 06, 1936. She lived a long and beautiful 80 years. Carolyn passed away on December 13, 2016 in Hesperia, California.

During her life Carolyn was a great lover of nature, enjoying life and the Earth and the little creatures that inhabit it. Carolyn was ferociously independent. She lived her days as a self-employed artist. She had the incredible patience that is necessary to teach and was a great mentor to a lot of her students. Some of her more defining attributes was her abounding generosity, her gentleness and kindness all the while being un-relentlessly honest and honorable in her way of approaching people and the world. She was a truly wonderful person.

Carolyn Joyce Shaw is preceded in death by her youngest son Robert Shaw and her brother Ronald Aguayo.

Carolyn is survived by her children Laura Shaw, Randy Shaw, Richard Shaw and her two adoptive sons Jeremy Shaw, and Jason Shaw; her two grandchildren Wyatt and Paula Shaw; her six great grandchildren, Anthony Shaw, Josie Shaw, Ian Shaw, Ellie Shaw, Kora Shaw, and Sadie Shaw; and her two nieces Kimberly Aguayo, and Deborah Aguayo.
