

Charles Monroe McCall Sr. passed away peacefully on March 1st, 2025 at the age of 86. Born on May 17th, 1938, he was known for his loyalty, outstanding work ethic and faithfulness to his friends and family. He touched the lives of many and will be dearly missed by all.
Charles is survived by his wife of 67 years Jane McCall and their four children: Charles Jr and his wife Debbie, James and his wife Kim, David and his wife Sylvia, and Jennifer Reavis and her husband Steve. he left behind thirteen grandchildren and twenty eight great-grandchildren. Additionally, Charles is also survived by his brother, Linwood McCall and Sister Deborah McCall.
Charles had a real heart for helping others and frequently made trips to Independence and Mexico with the church youth group. His construction knowledge was invaluable as he was able to make a difference in these communities. In 2009, Charles volunteered with Forever Wild Exotic Animal Shelter and the Extreme Makeover Home Edition show.
Charles' life was characterized by a love of construction and gardening. He always had a project in the works and a bountiful garden for all of the family to enjoy. Charles enjoyed spending time with his family and especially loved teaching his craft to his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
A memorial service for Charles will be held Friday, April 4, 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Sunset Hills Mortuary, 24000 Waalew Road, Apple Valley, CA 92307.
