Deborah "Debbie" Stevens

She was born in Altadena, CA February 17, 1949. She was a graduate of Victor Valley High School in 1967, and a longtime resident of Apple Valley, CA. She was married to Cecil A Stevens for 43 years. They owned the famous Summit Inn at the top of the Cajon Pass. Debbie was a hair stylist for over 50 years here in the High Desert after attending Barstow Beauty College. She loved the game of golf and belonged to the Apple Valley Country Club. She was very active in the community with the Assistance League and Las Comadres. She received her license as a Pitch Header Pilot. Husband CA Stevens was Potentate of the Al Malaikah Shrine Temple in 1996, which kept Debbie very busy with the Shrine Children’s Hospital and other events as first lady. She was a member of the Church of the Valley.

She leaves behind husband Cecil A Stevens, 4 sisters and brother in-laws, 4 stepchildren, 13 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.

A Celebration of Life service will be held November 15, 2018 at 11:00 AM at Sunset Hills Memorial Park and Mortuary, 24000 Waalew Rd, Apple Valley, CA 92307.
