

Edward John LeClere passed away peacefully on November 08, 2024, at the age of 71. Born to Edward F. and Shirley LeClere on February 25, 1953, in Pomona, CA. Edward, known as Ed to his friends, was raised in Southern California, attended Glendora High school and later graduated from the University of Nevada-Las Vegas. In 1985, he married Elizabeth A. Ritter and became a father to two boys of his own- Andrew and Matthew. Ed went on to attend the University of Laverne- College of Law, where he received his law degree in 1997 before beginning his career as an attorney in the High Desert and San Bernardino County. He later retired and lived in Apple Valley, California with his wife until his death. Ed was known for his generous spirit and charitable giving; sense of humor; incredible personality; being a fierce advocate and well-respected attorney. He was a loving friend, uncle, brother, son, husband, father, and grandfather. He touched the lives of many and will be dearly missed by his family and friends. He is survived by his wife Elizabeth; his sons Andrew and Mathew; his grandchildren Charles, Benjamin, and Emma; his daughter- in-law Rachel; his sister Elizabeth Beus; his brother-in-law Shane Beus; his sister-in-law Deborah Ritter M.D.; his lifelong friend William Sparling; his many nieces and nephews, and his numerous friends. Ed’s memorial service will be held at Sunset Hills Memorial Park and Mortuary in Apple Valley, CA on November 26, 2024, starting with a time for gathering at 1:00 p.m. with the service starting at 2:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Tunnel to Towers Foundation, St. Joseph’s Indian School, Wounded Warriors Project, or the National Multiple Sclerosis Society, in honor of Ed’s memory.
