Emily Rose Griego

Emily Rose was born on April 12, 1996, In Lancaster, California. Emily loved adventure and embraced challenges. She was filled with creativity and enjoyed photography.

Emily had a spirit about her and a love for her family that is to be admired, especially the love she had and showed for her beautiful daughter, Ophelia Grace. It become apparent what her true calling in this world was when she gave birth to her daughter Ophelia Grace.

Words can't describe the grief in our hearts, but our faith is powerful and absolute in knowing that Emily is now free after an extended illness.

Emily Rose Griego is survived by her daughter Ophelia Grace, her father Wilfred Griego, her mother Laurie Raster, stepfather Hal Raster, her brothers Austin and Myles Griego, her grandmother Linda Sheldon, her fiance Tony Cotugna, grandparents to Ophelia, Joe and Diane Cotugna, and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, stepsisters, and many, many friends. Emily was preceded in death by her grandparents, Sebastian and Nancy Griego, and grandfather Robert Sheldon.

We invite you to join us as we honor the beautiful life of Emily Rose on June 5th at 9am at Sunset Hills Mortuary in Apple Valley.

There are pictures to view and music to hear, showing the spirit of Emily but that is all diminutive in comparison to the beautiful person that we will remember in our hearts forever.

There will be a reception to follow at Sunset Hills Mortuary.
