Jose was born in Colombia. In Colombia he worked for Radio Sutatenza. The objective was to educate the country people. He migrated to the USA in 1965. From 1965 to 1987 he worked for Perk Food Company. In 1987 he started a career in the trucking business. He enjoyed nature, animals, dancing, and casinos. He loved his family and entertaining.
Jose Antonio Villamizar will be lovingly remembered by his wife Gladys.

Siblings: Anaiz, Estella, and Isabel
Grandchildren: Adrian, Tatiana, Monica Ruby, Sofia, and Diego Enrique
As well as many cousins, nieces, nephews, family and friends.
One of Jose’s last wishes was to come back to The Living Desert to visit the animals. The family has designated The Living Desert for memorial contributions to have a plaque in his honor.
