Kylee was the fifth of six children born to Gary and Christie Martin. Although she was born over three weeks late, she was quick to learn everything else, meeting most developmental milestones months early. She was extremely intelligent and brought joy to all those around her. Kylee was funny, compassionate, loving, and unlike the rest of her family was passionate about politics. Kylee believed in fighting for the rights of anyone who she felt needed to be fought for.
Passionate about many things, she researched daily about the things that interested her, including her Black Moor fish,”Destiny”. Kylee could tell you everything that there was to know about Black Moor fish and about her “baby” Destiny, a very large Black Moor fish. She enjoyed watching Tik Tok videos, writing stories for “Episodes”, ,and taking silly selfies for her social media profiles. She loved Abraham Lincoln and Bernie Sanders. She enjoyed listening to music by Billie Ellish and could tell you everything there is to know about her.
Kylee enjoyed life and even said several times in recent years, “I’m here for a good time, not for a long time”. From that she meant to live life to the fullest and not take anything too seriously because no one knows how long they have on earth before God calls them home.
Kylee died in her sleep on February 16, 2021 and will forever be missed by her mother, father, three sisters (Karli, Kyrah, and Kiyah) , and two brothers (Nathan and Kameron). Kylee is now in heaven with grandfather, Larry, who she was very close to and other family members who went to be with God before her.
