Lane Ray Myers, 51, was born December 20, 1966 in Lewistown, Montana. Lane grew up on a farm in Grass Range, MT and after graduating from there, he joined the Army in September 1985 and then transferred to the Air Force. He met Dana at Perry Oklahoma Convention in October 1985 and they married on March 19th, 1988. Lane was transferred to George AFB near Apple Valley where he and Dana settled and raised their family. Lane honorably separated from the military in September 1991 and started his career in Real Estate.
Lane is survived by his wife, Dana Colleen Myers of Apple Valley, California, daughters Caily Colleen Myers of Oxnard, California and Kelsey Rae Myers of Bozeman, Montana, son Chase Lane Myers of Sacramento, California, brothers Dave, Dale, Ron, and Gary Myers and sister Rita Graeber. He is preceded in death by parents Merlin and Marcia Myers.
Lane loved God and his family first. His favorite natural things were early and quiet mornings, Rook, coffee, Montana, adventuring with his family, politics, Costco, and Cracker Barrel. His favorite hobbies were flying and tinkering with cars. Lane had a sincere love for his country, a vibrant personality, ornery sense of humor, a genuine care for others, the biggest heart, was the class clown (graduated eighth out of nine), and his cheerfulness could brighten anyone’s day. His kids were his everything -- no distance was too far, no task was too great, no phone call was too early or late, if his kids needed him.
