Patty Sue Jones

Patty was born in Marietta, Oklahoma, she was preceded in death by her parents Jefferson and Audrey Davis, husband George R. Jones married fifty-three happy years, her oldest son Gary, sister Peggy Kelly, and brother Billy Davis.

She is survived by sisters Marilyn Newell (Oregon), Onetta Martin (California), Sharon Yopp (Arkansas), Paula Robinson (California). Her children, Micheal Jones, Diana and Wayne Francis, Sheri and Randy Ryder. Her grandsons, Micheal, Jacob, Logan Jones, Jerry Jones, Bryan, Jared, David Sluder, Chad, and Hayden Ryder. Step grandchildren Ila Bartoe, Georgia Richmond, Michael Harris, and Chris Atkins. Her great grandchildren, Merri, Hannah, Madalyn, Michael Jr, Trenton, Wyatt, Maya, Josie, Cody, Jesse, Alyssa, Alina, Ashlynn, Mason, Miles, Eyden, Desmond, Jackson, Andersyn, Leland, Brecklan, and many nieces and nephews.

Patty was self employed as an Enrolled Agent for over forty years, many of those years were spent in Barstow and the last in Apple Valley, she retired at the age of 80. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Hesperia, where she enjoyed many hours planning and preparing meals for different events at the church. She enjoyed playing games, especially dominoes, with her children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, and friends. Patty and George enjoyed many camping trips to Kernville, where Patty would fish for hours along the riverbank, which she loved. Patty enjoyed fishing, camping and traveling with her family. Patty was always up for family visits, and cooking for her family.

Patty’s celebration of life will be held on October 18, 2021, at Sunset Hills Memorial Park, 24000 Waalew Road, Apple Valley, California.
