Russell Passed away after an ongoing fight with cancer in the early morning hours of March 22,2025. Russell leaves behind a heart broken and loving wife of 43 years, loving children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. He was a true renaissance man working a wide range of jobs. Russell was a machinist making equipment for the war in Vietnam before working a long and exciting career with Los Angeles
Department of Water and Power (LADWP). While working at LADWP in the 1980's he worked on the refit of the hydroelectric system at Hoover Dam. Russell also spent time as a race car driver, aerospace engineer, computer programmer, heavy load pilot and route surveyor, golfer, roofer, gunsmith, hairdresser and an executive producer for Jeep commercials. All that pales in comparison to his role as a beloved husband and family man. He will forever be a part of his wife's heart.
