Susan Accomazzo passed away peacefully on December 2, 2025, at the age of 78. Born on January 14, 1947, Susan was known for her adventurous spirit, generous heart, and deep love for experiencing life. She touched the lives of many and will be dearly missed by her family and friends.
Susan spent 30 years teaching at Apple Valley High School and Granite Hills High School, where her passion for education and care for others touched the lives of countless students. She carried her love of learning and compassion into every classroom she entered.
Susan’s life was characterized by her kindness, strength, and appreciation for both the simple and meaningful joys of life. She had a deep appreciation for good food and a great glass of wine. She also cherished her maintenance days taking time to have her hair and nails done and embracing self-care with grace and confidence. Above all, Susan had a deep love for her cats, who brought her comfort, companionship, and happiness.
She will be remembered by all who knew her for her warm smile, caring spirit, and the lasting impact she made through her love, guidance, and compassion.
Susan is survived by her sister, Christine, along with dear friends who will continue to honor her legacy.

A visitation will be held at Sunset Hills Mortuary, located at 24000 Waalew Road, Apple Valley, CA 92307, on December 29, 2025, from 8:30 am to 9:00 am.
The funeral service will follow at the same location from 9:00 am to 10:00 am.
The committal service is scheduled from 10:00 am to 10:30 am, also at Sunset Hills Mortuary.
A reception will take place from 10:30 am to 12:30 pm at the same address.
