

Thomas Roman Sr. peacefully passed away on April 3, 2026, at the age of 97 and welcomed into the arms of his Savior and Lord, Jesus Christ. He was born on March 6, 1929, in Comerio, Puerto Rico. Renowned for his remarkable 70-year career in the jewelry industry, he had a deep passion for his craft, designing rings, cutting diamonds, and creating jewelry-making equipment to fulfill his aspirations. Additionally, he pursued studies in house building and earned his contractor’s license, proudly constructing his two homes. During his retirement, he took the initiative to teach himself the art of painting landscapes.
Thomas was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Hilda Roman, with whom he shared 65 years of marriage. Thomas’s memory will be lovingly remembered by his daughters, Yolanda Cruz, Roman Curbelo, and Michelle Francis, as well as his son, Thomas Roman Jr., along with eleven grandchildren, twenty-three great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren.
A commemorative service is scheduled to take place at Desert Springs Church, situated at 10125 11th Ave, Hesperia, CA 92345, on Friday, May 1, 2026, at 11:30 AM.
