Alexa Overall

ALEXA OVERALL, 74, a loving wife devoted to her husband of 53 years, a loving and caring mother to her four sons, went home to be with The Lord on Sunday, November 30, 2025, at home after a long battle with Parkinson’s disease.

Alexa was born on July 25, 1951, in Rusk, Texas and the family moved to Arlington in 1963. Alexa attended Arlington High School where she was the baton twirler for the AHS Marching Band. She had a passion for creating beautiful flowers, which brought joy to many, and she invested her heart in the women of her Bible Study Fellowship and Jazzercise ladies.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Jane Weaver Lankford, son, Alex Overall, twin sister, Aleta Stroud and younger sister, Ann Wilson. Left to cherish wonderful memories are her husband, Durwin Overall, sons: William Kevin Overall, Andrew Shane Overall, Michael Chad Overall; niece, Tammy McClary and husband, Sam; nephew, David Rusty Stroud and wife, Leslie; grandchildren, Brinley and Devon Overall; one great-granddaughter; one great niece and one great nephew.

Expressions of sympathy may be made in her name to Pleasantview Baptist Church in Arlington, Texas, where Alexa was a member for many years.

A visitation will be held at Moore Funeral Home, located at 1219 North Davis Drive, Arlington, Texas 76012, on December 3, 2025, from 5:00 - 7:00 PM.

The funeral service will take place at the same venue on December 4, 2025, from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM.

Following the funeral service, a committal service will be held at Moore Funeral Home & Memorial Gardens, 1219 North Davis Drive, Arlington, Texas 76012, from 12:00 PM to 12:30 PM.
