

Betty Ann Knowles, age 79, passed away on January 8, 2026, in Grapevine, TX. She was born on December 21, 1946, in Cullman County, Alabama, to Bunk and Ola Lee MacDowell. Raised in Cullman County, Betty attended Henceville High School. She married her beloved husband, Alvis E. Knowles, with whom she shared a cherished life.
Betty was a kind-hearted, inspirational, and friendly woman, known for her warmth and ability to connect with everyone she met. Her career spanned more than 20 years with Associated Rack Corp, where she was esteemed for her dedication and work ethic.
In her personal life, Betty was a loving mom, sister, grandmother, great-grandmother, and aunt. She enjoyed going to the gym at the Euless Senior Center, playing bingo, doing her yard work, and spending time with her family. Her friendly nature and inspirational spirit left a lasting legacy on all who knew her.
Betty was preceded in death by her husband, Alvis E. Knowles. She is survived by her son, Jeff Murphy, and his wife, Karla; her grandchildren, Mallory, Jesse, Cindy, Telisa, Don, Seth, Kimberly, and Michael; and 19 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her sisters, Sally Armstrong and Bobbie Walles, along with multiple nieces and nephews.
A visitation will be held at Moore Funeral Home, located at 1219 North Davis Drive, Arlington, TX 76012, on Monday, January 12, 2026, from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm. The funeral service will take place at the same location on Tuesday, January 13, 2026, at 11:00 am.
Betty's kind, talkative, and friendly nature will be deeply missed by her family and friends. She leaves behind a legacy of love and inspiration.
