Bhrett was born on Monday, January 29, 1996, in Arlington, Texas to the parents of Paul and Kim Gray
He was raised in Arlington attending and graduating from Arlington High School in 2014. Bhrett was a kind and gentle soul, who would be the first person to offer help at every gathering. He was fearless and always chasing adventure, and somewhat of a daredevil. He loved to be outside with his family, and loved to hang out with his big sister, Marjorie. Bhrett was an active and energetic and happy little boy. His favorite thing to do as a kid, was to ride his go-cart up and down the street, over and over until it was too
dark outside to see.
During his teenage years, his favorite activity was roaming the neighborhood and
riding his bicycle with his friends. Bhrett and his dad both shared a love for cars and trucks and anything that had a motor on it and would often spend their weekends together working on their favorite toys, cars and trucks.
When in high school he was really into skateboarding and hanging out with his buddies at the skate park. Bhrett was always practicing jumps and flips with his skateboard and was really talented on his board. Skateboarding became his favorite hobby and stayed his favorite hobby into adulthood. He also loved to play video games and would spend hours playing Grande Theft Auto on his beloved Play Station game console.
Bhrett was a believer and found solace in reading the Bible, and his faith in the lord would bring him peace.
Bhrett joined the Marines in 2020 and was very honored to be serving our country as "The Few. The Proud. The Marines". He was known in the marines as a ""Marines' Marine" and the "Battalion's Corporal"
He was relied on throughout his unit and will be remembered as a good leader, teacher and mentor, approachable to those he led. When away, he enjoyed playing online chess games with his sister "Marj"
When Bhrett would come home, he loved most to be with his niece and nephew Carson and Henry. Bhrett had so much compassion for others, and had this way about him that made the room light up once he walked in. He always had a smile on his face, and he had the best laugh and would bring joy to all around him with his charisma and charm.
Bhrett's families' favorite memories are how he loved cooking and watching movies with his mom, helping his sister Marj with her household fun and having long talks together. He enjoyed fishing with his dad and watching football games. He was really good at reading in an animated voice, stories like " Horton Hears a Who" to Carson and Henry and loved family dinners.
He liked to work on his 2015 Genesis Hyundai in his spare time which was his "baby" and being able to go fast and just let loose. His family and friends will always remember Bhrett as fun and goofy, loving, a great listener. His wonderful smile and laughter wil be sorely missed.
