Billy K. Morrow

Billy K. Morrow, age 93, passed away on October 11, 2025, in Carrollton, Texas. He was born on May 15, 1932, in Hollis, Oklahoma to George and Anna Morrow. Bill was raised in Oklahoma and moved to Texas in his teenage years. He graduated from Arlington High School in 1950.

Bill served over 24 years in the US Air Force, including time in Vietnam, Iceland, and England. Following his tenure with the Air Force, Bill worked as a letter carrier for the US Postal Service for over 20 years.

He married his wife, Mildred Irene Lester, in 1951 and the couple had one child. Bill enjoyed volunteering in his church and spending time with his church community. In his later years, he enjoyed traveling to relive childhood memories as well as spending time with his great-grandchildren. He had numerous pets over the years and enjoyed visiting his grand dogs.

Bill will always be remembered for his friendly smile, his kind and generous nature, and always giving freely of his time. He was quick to share one of his many stories, even if he’d told it before. Bill was devoted to his wife and family, raising his grandson and attending as many of his great grandchildren’s activities as possible.

He is preceded in death by his wife of 58 years, Mildred, and his parents, brother, and sister.

Bill is survived by his daughter, Rosanne Morrow; Grandson, Tom Reed and wife, Kirsten; great-grandchildren, Lauren, Jack, and Mark, and many friends.

A visitation for Billy will be held Monday, October 20, 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Moore Funeral Home, 1219 North Davis Drive, Arlington, TX 76012. A funeral will occur Tuesday, October 21, 2025 at 10 AM at Moore Funeral Home. Burial will follow the service at Parkdale Cemetery, 701 S. Mary Street Arlington, TX 76010.
