A third-generation native Texan, she was born in Fort Worth on April 24, 1946.
She graduated from Arlington High School in 1964 and attended the University of Texas-Arlington, where she was an original member of UTA's chapter of Zeta Tau Alpha sorority.
She married Howard Hale on June 16, 1968, days after her graduation from UTA.
Dana worked for Airborne/DHL for 33 years.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Milton Ascue and Marguerite Tidwell Ascue.
She is survived by her husband of 46 years, Howard Hale, of Arlington; their daughter and son-in-law, Holly and Michael Landauer, of Grapevine; and two grandchildren, Joshua and Alexa Landauer.
