Daniel Mendez

Daniel Mendez, age 7, of Arlington, Texas passed away on Saturday, October 18, 2025. In Austin, Texas. Daniel Mendez was born on Thursday November 9, 2017 in Arlington, Texas to Roxana Calderon and Jose Ferniza.

Daniel was raised in Arlington and attended Lynn Hale Elementary school. When he wasn't in school he enjoyed playing video games and listening to music. He also loved to play outside and to spend time with his siblings Adrian and Jaylenne. Daniel was awarded Kid of Character at his school showing his joyful and respectful nature.

Daniel will be truly missed by many relatives and friends, they will always remember him as being joyful, sweet, loving and caring. They will, remember all the good memories shared with him. He will always be remembered for the loving spirit and kindness he showed to everyone around him.

There are no goodbyes for us, you will always be in our hearts.

In honor of Daniel there will be a book donation box located in the chapel during services. Please consider bringing a chapter book (elementary school level) to be donated to Lynn Hale Elementary.
