He was born David Lynn Lewallen on Oct. 22, 1944, in Stephenville, a son of Joe Cecil Lewallen and Violet Lewallen. David was a very sweet and well-loved person. David's greatest love was his family and leaves an amazing legacy for his children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Lana Carol Lewallen, in 1974.
Survivors: Daughter, Micki Caudle; sons, David Roland Lewallen and Dwain Vincent Lewallen and his wife, Laura Beth Lewallen; brother, Eddie Lewallen; five grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and his beloved dog, B.J.
