He attended and graduated with honors from Lamar High School in Arlington, TX in 2005. He joined the United States Air Force achieving the rank of a Staff Sargent. After 10 years of honorable service, he decided to change career paths and become a business owner in Tacoma, WA. DeQuan was a faithful young man of God who was fun loving and respectful to family and friends. Kindness and generosity was his personality.
He was a beacon of light to his father, mother (who preceded him in death), grandmother, Ann McHatten; aunts, Sandra McHatten (Howard), Sharon McHatten, Sheila Harris and Deborah Kelly; uncles, Trinity McHatten, Charles Bell, Raymond Moore and Brian Moore as well as a host of many relatives and friends. Dequan will be truly missed and always remembered by all who knew and loved him.
