

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, July 15, 2014 at Worth Baptist Church, 4900 Campus Drive, in Fort Worth, with Dr. Willie Weaver officiating. Interment will follow at Moore Memorial Gardens in Arlington. Visitation for family and friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at Moore Funeral Home, 1219 N. Davis Drive, in Arlington.
She was born Bessie Elnora Williams on April 21, 1923, in Breckenridge, a daughter of Theodas J. Williams and Bessie Lee Ownby Williams. Elnora was a woman of faith receiving her salvation on July 21, 1934. She witnessed to her faith up until the end. On June 19, 1944, Elnora married George Harvey. Together, they were charter members of Morningside Baptist Church now Halmark Baptist Church. She took her children to church, teaching them godliness by word and deed. Elnora taught Sunday school for many years, and was active in the Girl Scouts and Den leader for the Boy Scouts. Elnora loved her hobbies of crocheting, knitting, painting and traveling. At the age of 91, she learned how to use Facebook and text using her smartphone. Most of all, Elnora loved her family. She prayed daily for each of her granchildren. She leaves behind an amazing legacy for her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Theodas and Bessie Williams; her husband, George Harvey; granddaughter, Tracy Harvey; daughter-in-law, Katy Harvey; son-in-law, Gene Magnuson; brother, Tommie Williams; and sisters, Maxine Gaskin and Grace Joy Williams.
Elnora is survived by her children, Tommie Harvey and wife, Barbara, of Everman, Patrick Harvey of Freeport, Darlene Magnuson of Jefferson and Jerry Harvey and wife, Robin, of Fort Worth; her grandchildren, Tammie, Damon and wife, Leslie, Theresia and husband, Derick, Tricia, Jerry Paul Jr. and wife, Tracy, Karen and husband, Kraig, Ryan, Jessica and husband, Fabian, and Debbie and husband, Chris; 22 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
