Emily Danea Jordan

Johnson Jordan, on July 20, 2024. Born on July 20,1977, to the Parents of Dana

and Mike Johnson. Her life was marked by her love for sports, technology,

music, and her family. Emily was an avid basketball enthusiast, having played the sport

passionately during her high school years. A devoted mother, Emily ensured

her children had everything they needed, nurturing them with love and care.

Her tech-savvy nature earned her the affectionate title of “computer nerd”

within the family, as she could solve almost any computer or phone problem.

Emily’s enthusiasm for music, the Dallas Cowboys, and movies was

infectious, and she was known for her extensive knowledge and passion for

all three.

One of Emily’s cherished traditions was celebrating her birthday with

her middle child, Jay, who was born on the same day. She always considered

him a special birthday gift from God, and together they enjoyed watching

new movies at the theater every year. Emily and her daughter Larissa were

extremely close as she often referred to her as “my mini me.”

Preceded in death by uncle: Paul Scott. Emily Leaves behind a

granddaughter, Londyn, the father of her children Melvin Jordan; her

children, Travis Johnson, Jay Jordan and Larissa Jordan; Parents Dana and

Mike Johnson; brother Tyler Johnson (Kelly) and daughter Vivian; uncle

Carroll Johnson (Reta), David Scott (Trisha), and many other family and

friends who will deeply miss her. Her legacy of love, dedication, and passion

for life will continue to inspire those who knew her.

A graveside service for Emily will be held Monday, July 29, 2024, 12:00 PM at Parkdale Cemetery, Arlington, TX.
