

ARLINGTON -- Frances Johnston Sargeant, 69, beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, May 27, 2011, following her chronic illness with scleroderma. She was surrounded by her loving daughters.
Funeral: 3:30 p.m. Wednesday in the Moore Funeral Home Chapel. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Moore Funeral Home.
Frances was born Nov. 4, 1941. She was a 1960 graduate of Mercedes High School. She was retired from the city of Fort Worth and TxDOT. Frances proudly served the community as an election judge in Tarrant County for 25 years. She loved real estate, achieved her real estate broker's license and practiced for many years. She earned a BBS in finance from The University of Texas at Arlington.
Most of all, Frances loved her family very much and enjoyed spending quality time with her daughters and grandchildren. She will be missed beyond words. She was preceded in death by her mother, Dolores Martinez Johnston, and her father, Dr. Frederick L. Johnston.
Survivors: Daughter, Marlene Robichaux Rogers and husband, Kyle, of Flower Mound; daughter, Jacqueline Robichaux Corn and husband, Drew, of North Richland Hills; daughter, Andrea Sargeant Chavez and husband, Jeremy, of Arlington; grandchildren, Dylan and Davis Rogers, Catherine and Nathan Corn; brothers and sisters, Mary and John Boop of Riverton, Utah, Theresa and OJ "Rags" Ragsdale of Grand Junction, Colo., Dr. Fred Johnston of Pleasanton, Calif., Tony and Avelina Johnston of Carrollton, George Johnston of Auburn Hills, Mich., Lydia Garcia of Auburn Hills, Mich., Daniel and Charlene Johnston of Rochester, Mich.; and many nieces and nephews.
