

After a five-year battle with cancer Frank Madison Barnes Jr., is now in heaven in the presence of Jesus his Savior. He passed away on September 29, 2025, in Fort Worth, Texas at the age of 75. He was born on December 4, 1949, in Fort Worth to Frank M. and Eula Mae Barnes. He graduated from Eastern Hills High School in 1968 and attended Tarleton State University following high school.
Frank worked his career in landscaping at Archies Gardenland in Fort Worth for about 30 years. In his spare time Frank enjoyed gardening, watching the Dallas Cowboys and Texas Rangers as well as horseracing and spending time with his beloved dog “Lucy.”
His family and friends will always remember him as “Frankie & Spider.” He was a loving brother, uncle, cousin and friend and an all-around good guy.
Frank is preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Eula Mae Barnes.
He is survived by his sister, Gloria Moskowits; niece, Allison (Dwayne) Holland; nephew, Bryan Moskowits and his cousins, Robert (Beverly) Barnes, Barbara Dalton and Randy (Beverly) Groves.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society and Jack Graham Power Point Ministries (Prestonwood Baptist Church in Plano, TX).
A Memorial Service to Celebrate the Life of Frank Barnes will be held on Friday, November 14, 2025, at 1:00 PM - Moore Funeral Home, 1219 North Davis Drive Arlington, Texas 76012.
