Garry was born in Lubbock, Texas on July 9, 1952 to Bill Gene Partain & Christine (Leach) Partain. His dad, Bill Gene Partain, preceded him in death. Garry had a passion for his family, serving others, & spending time with his toes in the sand on the beach.

Survivors: Loving wife, Rebecca (Jouett) Partain; sons, Charles James Clark II & wife, Melisa (Townsend) of Haltom City, Travis Ryan Partain & wife, Toni (Verastigui) of Grand Prairie, Taylor Du`Pree Partain of Grand Prairie, Ronald Ray Cummings of Hugo, Oklahoma; daughters, Stephanie (Bolesta) Solomon & husband, Nelson of Brooksville, FL; Kristin (Bolesta) Cummings of Grand Prairie; mother, Christine (Leach) Partain of North Richland Hills; sisters, Julie Ann Partain of Fort Worth, Cathy Ellen (Partain) Belyeu & husband, Darrell Belyeu of Richland Hills; brother, Terry Wade Partain & wife, Kim (Rich) Partain of Keller; grandchildren, Jacob & Jonathan Clark, Jayden Caballero & Joseph Partain, Isabella & Landon Cummings, Devin & Aaron Solomon, Selene & Ethan Avila.
