Georgia Marie Denny

Funeral: 3 p.m. Friday, June 3, in Moore Funeral Home Chapel, 1219 N. Davis Drive. Entombment: Following Funeral at Moore Memorial Gardens. Visitation: 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday, at Moore Funeral Home.

Memorials: Flowers may be sent to Moore Funeral home or, in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude's Children Research Hospital or favorite charities.

Georgia was born March 9, 1933, in Colgate, Okla., to John and Audra Betasso. Georgia grew up in Colgate where she met her future husband, Robert Arnold Denny. After marrying Robert, Georgia moved to Fort Lewis, Wash. where Robert served in the U.S. Army. Once Robert completed his service, they started their family in Arlington. Georgia and Robert had two sons, Gary and Donald. In 1977, Georgia assisted Robert in establishing Denco Aerospace. Georgia was a long-time member of United Method Church of Arlington and enjoyed bowling and card games. Georgia was known for her personable nature.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 51 years, Robert; parents, John and Audra; sons, Gary and Donald; Gary's wife, Jeri; and one grandchild.

Survivors: Widow of Donald, Lisa, of Oklahoma City, Okla.; grandchildren, Audra, Michael, Victoria and Jonathan Denny.
