

Funeral: 12:30 p.m. Saturday in Moore Funeral Home Chapel, 1219 N. Davis, Arlington. Visitation: 5 to 8 p.m. Friday at Moore Funeral Home.

Mr. Heath was born in Venus on Oct. 9, 1920, to Dovie Payton Heath and William Anderson "Andy" Heath. Glen was the third of four siblings, Lorene Heath Howard, Marion "Son" Heath and Royce Payton Heath.
Mr. Heath spent his formative years in the Venus area south of Arlington, and also lived for a short time in Grapevine.
On Aug. 17, 1942, at the beginning of World War II, Mr. Heath enlisted in the United States Navy. He was assigned to the Naval Air Station, Dallas, Hensley Field, where he underwent recruit training and began a 20-year career in naval aviation. Aside from occasional temporary duty stations Mr. Heath spent the majority of his service at NAS Dallas.
He was awarded the American Theater Campaign Medal, World War II Victory Medal, Naval Reserve Medal, and Good Conduct Medal (six times). Also he received numerous commendations and unit citations from various base commanders. Mr. Heath retired in 1963 after 20 years of naval service with the rating of chief petty officer, aviation mate.
Mr. Heath married Lois Virginia Lawrence in July 1942 and together they raised three children, Glenda Lois, Crystal Mae and Glen Anderson Heath Jr., in Arlington. Virginia passed away in 1977, and Mr. Heath lost his eldest daughter, Glenda Rose, to cancer in 1996.
After retirement from the Navy, Mr. Heath was employed by Textron/Bell Helicopter at the Arlington and Hurst plants. After retirement from Bell Helicopter he began a successful career in real estate as a major stakeholder in Accent Realty in Arlington. He was well known and respected in the Arlington/Mansfield real estate community.
Prior to the building of the new Cowboys stadium, Mr. Heath relocated to Iredell and lived there until his passing.
Survivors: His brother, Royce Heath of Iredell; his sister, Lorene Howard of Garland; son-in-law, Carl Rose of Midlothian; his children, Crystal Heath Caviness and spouse, Doug Caviness, of Georgetown, Glen Anderson Heath Jr. and spouse, Joan Heath, of Conroe; grandchildren, Ginger Rose Jacob, Jason Ray Rose, Christopher Glen Click, Carey Click Page, Tiffany Heath Yosten, Stacey Caviness Brecher and Lindsey Ann Caviness; and great-grandchildren, Kyle Jacob, Shane Jacob, Skylar Click, Riley Click, Colton Click, Jenna Yosten, Londyn Rose and Eva Brecher.
Mr. Heath is also survived by his special longtime friend, Elaine Warren of Hurst.
