Harry Rowland Barnard Ph.D

Harry Rowland Barnard, age 82, of Bynum, Texas passed away on Sunday February 25, 2018. Harry was born December 5, 1935 in Brandon, Texas. Harry graduated from Hobbs High School in Hobbs, Mew Mexico. He attended Texas A&M University earning his degree in Aerospace Engineering. He earned his masters degree from SMU. He earned his Ph.D from Kennedy-Western University.

Harry was married to Carolyn Rudolph and had 3 children: Susan Montgomery (Robert Montgomery), Doug Barnard, and Terri Price. He also has 4 grandchildren: Will Barnard, Courtney and Preston Price, and James Montgomery.

Harry was a Lockheed Martin Fellow and also an adjunct professor at University of Texas at Arlington. He loved what he did and his passion for those he worked with energized him.

A visitation for Harry will be held Wednesday, February 28, 2018 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Moore Funeral Home, 1219 North Davis Drive, Arlington, TX 76012. A memorial service will occur Thursday, March 1, 2018 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM, 1219 North Davis Drive, Arlington, TX 76012. A reception will occur Thursday, March 1, 2018 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM, 1219 North Davis Drive, Arlington, TX 76012. A burial will occur Thursday, March 1, 2018 at 12:00 AM at DFW National Cemetery, 2000 Mountain Creek Pkwy, Dallas, Texas.
