Hazel Ruth Morris

Morris, Hazel Ruth, 88, passed peacefully Saturday July 18 in Arlington, Texas. Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 AM Monday, July 27 at the Moore Funeral Home Chapel in Arlington. Burial will be in the DFW National Cemetery in Dallas. Visitation will be 2 to 4 PM Sunday, at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Hazel's name to the Dallas Stars Foundation or the Humane Society of North Texas. Hazel was a lifelong Texan who moved to Arlington in 1985. She graduated from Adamson High School in 1945. She was married to Charles S. Morris for 58 wonderful years until his passing in 2003. Hazel was an award winning artist and a member of the Southwestern Watercolor Society and the Fort Worth Chapter of the SFPAC of Texas. She is survived by her sons: Randy Morris and wife Linda of Corinth, TX; Bret Morris and wife Lynn of Burleson, TX; grandchildren Ryan, Natalie, Rachel, Matt; great grandchildren Kimber, Luke.
