Heather was our beloved security officer. Every morning she made rounds to our unit and gave a big, bright smile. If we met her in the hall way, she was the first one who gave us a big hug and said hello . She will be missed. Our thougths and prayers are with her and her family members.

I will miss Heather's energy and good nature.  I knew her from work.  She always greeted everyone with a big smile, even at 6 o'clock in the morning! My thoughts and prayers for her family.

Since our years together at Cathedral of Hope both in the orchestra and just as friends, I have always admired Heather's ability to make friends easily and her devotion to them.  I will miss her caring, her trumpet, her humor, and her joy for life.  We miss Heather so much already.  Our sincerest condolences to Annabelle and to the rest of the family.

Dear Heather--we hadn't counted on this but for you the veil has been lifted and life's greatest secret has been revealed. 

Yet you remain so talented with new life, music and laughter which we know you are sharing in a new place. I am confident you will continue to have us keep your memory in as many new ways you can think of.

Heather was a noble soul with a keen mind and wonderful gifts in music, conducting, hands-on work, and project management. She also knew love and friendship with her caring heart that easily embraced both with an stoic exterior and a sweet inner softness that endeared her to all who really knew her. Heather had an inner child that not too many people saw. I was one who got to see her. She was quite the happy little girl. I remember when she got her new suit and boy, did she glow in it! Just like a kid with new clothes. Such a fun girl. I shall miss her.

I first met Heather in 1998 when I joined the Cathedral of Hope orchestra. It has been wonderful performing with Heather during all the years since. I also watched Heather grow as a person when she directed the Jazzful Noise ensemble and provided the Big Band music during the KTCC Turtle Creek Chorale performance with Tim Seelig in 2003. Most of all, though, Heather donated her time out of a love for music and a genuine desire to minister to people with music. Heather was and is an angel and will missed.

I was truly saddened to hear of Healther's untimely passing.  I always enjoyed seeing her playing the trumpet and simply being in awe of her unlimited talent.  You will be missed, but I know GOD needed a great trumpet player and he called you.  Rest in peace my friend.

Heather was more than just a friend to me!  She was like a little sister, a confidant and the best friend everyone deserves.  I will miss her tremendesly!  I listend to her solo on facebook and just cried, but I understand that she will countinue to play her music in heaven.  I prey for her family, family of choise, and friends. New to the Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital Dallas where Heather worked,  I always looked forward to seeing this energetic little person standing on the corner, waving and greeting everyone "Good Morning" as she stood on her watch, with a smile on her face.  A little act of kindness so to speak.  If we've learned anything from this it is to know that little acts of kindness -Do make a difference.

As the grounds keeper and gardener, and a member at the Cathedral of Hope for many years now I had the priviledge to talk and work with Heather on many various projects over the years.  I cannot say how much her passing has left such a deep loss in my soul.  She was always such a joy to see when I would arrive to work or attend services there.  My heartfelt prayers to her family and friends, and to Anna Belle during this time of grief.
I will never hear a trumpet again and not think of her mischievous little smile, and her welcoming soul.  I will miss you Heather

Heather contributed so much to our chruch through her ministry of music in playing the trumpet and often directing the choir and orchestra.  While on staff, Heather was dedicated in making sure everything was in order and would be there late in the evenings for events anytime she was needed.  Her smile, kindness, gentleness, and  throughtfulness in helping others will truly be missed by all who knew and loved her.

The routine work of maintaining the CATHEDRAL OF HOPE or contributing her musical gifts to the Lord, it was done

It was with a great sense of loss when we heard of Heathers death.  We wanted to let you know that you have our greatest sympathy and our hearts are so saddened.  Heather was more than just a wonderful person; she was always so kind and always had a hug and a smile for us.  Her passiing not only will leave a void in our lives but in the hearts of all who knew her.  Heather will always be in our hearts and all of her family and friends will be in our prayers. I first met Heather several years ago when I first started attending The Cathedral of Hope in Dallas, where Heather had been employed.  She was one of the most fun-loving people I had met in recent memory, always had a smile on her face, had a terrific sense of humor and was a joy to be around.
Heather, you will truly be missed by the multitude of people who loved you and who adored you.  Words cannot describe how everyone feels, knowing that the world has lost a wonderful human being.  
You will always be in my thoughts and in my heart forever Heather, and to Heather’s family, Belle Bowden and to the countless friends who knew Heather, please find comfort and faith in knowing that Heather is at peace and in paradise, with our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.  And someday, we all WILL be reunited with her.

Heather will be missed by all her friends and loved ones.  Now she is playing her trumpet in heaven for the Lord.  The orchestra at church will not be the same without the sound of her music and her bright smile.

My condolences to the family and friends of Heather. She was a joy here at the hospital, always had a smile on her face.  She was very thoughtful and just all an around great person.  I am really going to miss her!

Heather was an awesome trumpet player. I very much enjoyed listening to her play. I also enjoyed playing/singing for her when she directed us in orchestra/choir. The repair she made to my flute is still there today.

Jane, we want you to know that we are praying for you and your family.  God also knows the hurt of losing a child and knows how to heal your heart at this time. God gave you a beautiful daughter in Heather and her love of music was so apparent when she played in RHBC.  We are sending love and prayers to you today.
