

Born in Crossville, TN to Ernest and Martha Brown on February 12, 1932, Herbert went on to
live an enriched life with his wife, children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. He joined the Army and served his country, but for years, he worked as a salesman.
Nothing brought him more joy than the love of his life, Zella Brown and his family. His hobbies included spending time outdoors gardening and golfing, but everyone around him knew that his favorite was spending time with his grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Herb is survived by his beautiful wife Zella of 66 years of marriage. His sister Dolly and brother Ed, from Crossville, TN. He is also survived by four sons: Charles, David (his wife Martha), Larry (his wife Lynn) and Michael (his wife Joni); eleven grandchildren: Jonathan (his wife Rizalin), David (his wife Abigail), Matthew (his wife Rebekah), Austin (his wife Sherie), James (his wife Katie), Jacob (his wife Hannah), Grant (his wife Danielle), Taylor, Connor, Catherine and Callie; and twelve great grandchildren: Caleb, Jeni, Daniel, Sophia, Keziah, Johannah, Olivia, Christinna, Charlotte, Nolan, Gabriel and Mila.
Herb was proceeded in death by his parents Ernest & Martha and brother Willie, all from Crossville, TN.
Visitation will begin at 12:00 p.m. on Friday, May 10, 2019 at Moore Funeral Home, 1219 N. Davis, Arlington, TX 76012 with a funeral service to follow at 1:00 p.m. The committal service will be held at 2:00 p.m. at Moore Memorial Gardens.
