

Funeral service will be Tuesday, March 29, at 3:30 pm. Both will be at Moore Funeral Home. Visitation will be Monday, March 28 from 6-8 pm.
Memorials: In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in memory of James H. Bradley to Vitas Hospice Charitable Fund or The LBD Association.
He was a loving Husband, Father, Grandfather, Great Grandfather and Brother. Our hero will be greatly missed.
Jim was born September 27, 1930 in Justin, Tx. and lived in Arlington since 1953. In 1941 he joined the Naval Reserve and was honorably discharged after 9 years of service. On July 29, 1952 he married the love of his life, Marilou Thomason, of Ponder, Tx. They were happily married for 58 years.
"Big Jim" served as an Arlington Police Officer, retiring after 28 years. After retirement he loved to spend his time farming. He enjoyed sharing his passions with family and friends which included raising cattle, vegetable and flower gardening, and his love for animals and birds.
He will be remembered for his love for his family and all the tall tales he told.
Survivors: Wife, Marilou; daughters, Cindy Sherman and husband, Tony, Valerie Tucker and husband, Tracey; sisters, Pat Henderson and Jo Bradley; Grandchildren, Melissa and Brad Harvey; Great-grandchildren, Alesia and Bradley Harvey, Jr.
