Services to celebrate his life will be at 2:00 pm, Wednesday, June 17, at Moore Funeral Home, Rev. Cathy Mordecai and Pastor David Danielson officiating. The family will receive family and friends 6 to 8 pm Tuesday at Moore Funeral Home.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Minnie, and daughter,Carol Wallace of Strawn, Texas. He is survived by his son, Guy Mordecai of Fort Worth; son, Raymond Merritt of Burleson; daughter, Pat Carlile of Bedford and his large loving family.
James served proudly in The United States Air Force. He worked for the telephone company for many years and in real estate for an interim. In later years he enjoyed visits fromhis family and friends; and his home, yard and garden.
