Janice Carroll

Janice Carroll, age 93, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, November 9th, 2025 in Mansfield, TX. She was born on July 14th, 1932 in Wewoka, OK to Ernie Mason and Alice Long. Janice graduated from Wewoka High School and went to secretary school in Houston. She married Kenneth Carroll in 1953, and the couple had 5 children, Debbie, David, Judy, George, and Paul. She worked as a secretary, and traveled many places following her husband who was in the Navy. After retirement, she played piano for church services at a juvenile detention center. In her spare time, she enjoyed church activities, sewing, and word search puzzles. Her family and friends will always remember her as an organized energizer bunny.

She is preceded in death by her parents, husband Kenneth, sons David and Paul, and all her brothers and sisters (Billy, Junior, Pete, Tiny, and Leonard Mason, and Juanita Gumm.)

She is survived by her children, Debbie Grable, Judy Mueller, and George Carroll and 11 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.

Visitation for Janice will be held on Thursday, November 13, 2025 from 5 to 7 pm at Moore Funeral Home, 1219 N. Davis Drive Arlington, TX 76012. A funeral will be on Friday, November 14, 2025 at 10 AM at Moore Funeral Home with burial to follow in Parkdale Cemetery, 701 S. Mary Street Arlington, TX.
