Jo Frances Tull

Jo Frances Tull, age 96, of Arlington, Texas passed away on Wednesday, January 15, 2025. Jo was born in Honey Grove, Texas on July 8, 1928 and went peacefully to be with her Lord and Savior on January 15, 2025 in her hometown of Arlington, Texas. The majority of her 96 years were spent in her beloved Arlington.

Jo was a beloved wife, daughter, sister, aunt, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, great-great grandmother and friend. Her life was defined by her selflessness, compassion, and unwavering dedication to all she loved.

Jo had a true green thumb. From the time she was young she had many gardens. Over the years she shared snippings and cherished plants and flowers with others. She tended her gardens well into her 90’s however, if you happen to have one of those snippets, or plants, or flowers, please remember Jo’s memory with each new bloom. Her love of gardens kept them traveling around to places such as Hawaii for their sheer beauty of their gardens.

Jo was preceded in death by: son Ronald Hobbs Sr. (Wife Mavis Hobbs), son Dana Hobbs, stepson Nathan Tull, grandsons, Danny and Michael Hobbs.

Jo is survived by her beloved husband Edward Tull, daughter Beverly Derring (Husband Roy Derring), stepdaughter Donna Hobbs Holloway, stepson Matthew Tull, daughter in law Barbara Hobbs, grandsons Ronald Hobbs, Christopher Derring, granddaughters Jennifer Derring and Michelle Hobbs, 8 great grandchildren, and many great great grandchildren.

Go rest high on that mountain. We will see you again, Sweetheart.
