

Joe Bob McDaniel, 83, of Arlington, went to be with the Lord on Friday, January 1, 2016. Services will be at 10:00 am Wednesday, January 6 at Moore Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Moore Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be Tuesday, January 5 from 6:00 to 8:00 pm at the funeral home.
Joe Bob was born November 7, 1932 in Brady, Texas to William and Roberta McDaniel. He faithfully attended Grace Baptist Church and was a door greeter and usher. Joe Bob was a Mason and Shriner. He served in the United States Army during the Korean War. He married Eva Joycelyn Brown on November 7, 1954, in San Saba. In his early years he was a Superintendent at Bell Helicopter and retired in 1995 after 34 years. He loved gardening, fishing and spending time with his family.
Joe Bob is survived by his wife of 61 years, Joycelyn, three children, Mike McDaniel of Venus, Sharon McDaniel of Arlington, Greg McDaniel and his wife Kathy of Burleson, grandchildren, Taylor, Mallory, Kacie, and granddog Maddie. Also survived by a special sister, Hortense Mann and many more nieces and nephews.
