Joseph (Joe) F. Robinson, 85, the Greatest Dad, PaPa and Great PaPa, and Great Great PaPa, left us on a journey to with our Lord and his wife of 56 years on Wednesday, December 26, 2012 at home with family in Arlington.
Joe was born April 4, 1927 in Coatesville, Pennsylvania and he grew up in Westchester. After his service in the Navy at the end of World War II Joe went back home and later met and married Margaret. In 1963 they moved to Texas where he worked and retired from General Motors. He also worked at the Ballpark in Arlington (so he could watch live baseball). Joe loved family togetherness, baseball and golf.
He was preceded in death by his wife Margaret. He is survived by sons: Will Robinson, Joe and wife Lyne Robinson; daughters: Patricia and husband Walter McKinnon, Barbara and husband Richard Wood, Linda and husband Mike Burks, 13 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild.
