Judith Ann Charles

Judith "Judy" Charles age 83 passed away on Tuesday, November 07, 2023 in Arlington, Texas. She was born June 15, 1940 in Brooklyn, N.Y. to Richard P. and Kathryn T. Charles. Judy was raised in Brooklyn and Garden City and attended Rosemont College.

Judith Charles enjoyed all sports during her younger years. She was an award-winning camper and went on to win golf tournaments during her summers in beloved Quogue, N.Y. She could visit with anyone, no doubt calling them "friend" when they parted. Judy loved to hold dinner parties, preferring to serve French dishes, after her junior year in France. Judy has a strong sense of fashion as well as interior design. She was a prolific reader, preferring Russian history.

Her family and friends will always remember her as a keen wit. Her kindness and endurance taught all of us. She was a saint in many ways, leaning on her patron saint-St. Jude.

She is preceded in death by: Her parents Kathryn "Katie" Charles and Richard P. Charles, her sister Elizabeth Ann Charles Savage and Eileen Charles Owen. Survived by: Her brother Patrick J. Charles, her younger sister Mary Jane Charles and many nieces and nephews.
