Judith Margaret Lawson

Judith was raised in High Wycombe, where she graduated from High Wycombe Secretarial College in 1959. She went on to build a successful career as an office manager, working many years at Graham Bright and Smith before finishing her career at Colven and Tran.

In 2004, Judith married the love of her life, Bill Lawson. Together they shared many happy years filled with love, laughter, and companionship.

Judith had a passion for life and found great joy in traveling, boating, fishing, and dancing. Above all, she cherished time spent with her family and friends. She had a remarkable gift for making others feel welcome—never meeting a stranger and forming lasting friendships wherever she went.

Her family and friends will forever remember her as their “queen”—a loving wife, devoted mother, proud grandmother, and great-grandmother who brought people together and filled every room with warmth and joy.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Leonard and Betty Lowe; her grandparents; bonus daughter Amy Patton; and many beloved family members and lifelong friends.

Judith is survived by her devoted husband, Billy G. Lawson; daughters, Suzanne Lizak and Nicola (Art) Pismeny; her beloved sister, Jackie Summerbell; Nephew Tom Summerbell (Polly); grandsons, Adam (Jenn) Pismeny and Brian Pismeny; granddaughters, Sarah (Ryan) Worden, Amanda (Troy) McAlister, and Kelly Lizak; great-grandchildren, Madison Pismeny, Richard Worden, Mackenzie Pismeny, Julia Worden, Braelyn Pismeny, Faith Worden, Aubrey McAlister, Everly Pismeny, Landyn Mc Alister , Taylor Mc Alister and Luke Pismeny; bonus daughter, Emily (Scott) Pyle; bonus grandson, Taylor Patton; extra special brother-in-law, Michael Cipolla (Bill); and her extra special cousin, Janice Shields, who was like a sister to her.

Judith’s legacy of love, kindness, and connection will live on in all who knew her.
