Kelly Lynn Reeves Burks, 34, passed away unexpectedly at her home on Sunday, January 25,2015. Funeral: 2:00pm Friday in the chapel at Moore Funeral Home. Burial: Moore Memorial Gardens. Visitation: 6-8pm Thursday at Moore Funeral Home. Kelly was born on March 13, 1980 in Duncanville and moved to Grapevine in 1992. She graduated from Grapevine High School in 1998.
Kelly was a homemaker and a wonderful mother to her two sons, who were the most important part of her life. Kelly, a gifted artist and writer, referred to herself as “a Christ-follower." She had a positive influence on many lives and will be deeply missed by her friends, family, and all who knew her.
Kelly is survived by her two sons, Samuel and Oliver Burks; husband, Stephen Burks; sister, Lori Reeves; brother, Timothy Reeves; parents, Cody and Karen Reeves; grandparents, Rod and Pat Routen, and Jewel Reeves; and father and mother-in-law, Bill and Bonnie Burks.
