Ken was born in Rockford, Ill., on June 25, 1936. He attended Rockford East High School and served in the U.S. Air Force. He was a master electrician and worked in the family business before moving to Texas in 1983. He was an avid sports fan, took great pride in maintaining his yard and was very proud of his Swedish heritage. Ken was a longtime member of Shepherd of Life Lutheran Church.
Survivors: Wife, Judy; daughters, Vicky Zalzalah and husband, Jim, and Debra Orals and husband, Luke; stepson, Jason Picard and wife, Kimberly; eight grandchildren; and sister, Mavis Parson and husband, Gene.
