Memorial service: 2 p.m. Wednesday at Lamar Baptist Church.
Lee was born to Roy Reeves Clark and Gladys Rene Hightower Clark in Athens, Texas on Oct. 19, 1928. She spent her early years in the Houston area in Pasadena, Golden Acres, and Alvin. She later moved to Grandview and then to Hillsboro. Lee graduated from Hillsboro High School in 1946, and attended Hillsboro Junior College while working part time. In Jr. College, she met her future life's companion, Cecil McFarland, and they shared almost 65 years, including their courtship. They married on Feb. 29, 1952; moved to Arlington in 1955.
Lee worked at various secretarial and/or bookkeeping jobs during the early years of their marriage; but, only a few part-time or volunteer jobs after the children were born. From that point, she managed to be a most-wonderful full-time wife, mother, grandmother, and a warm and open friend to everyone she met. She is much loved and will be sorely missed by her family and all who knew her.
Survivors: Lee is survived by her husband, Cecil; her daughters, Sandra Bunata and her husband, Bob, and Pam Atkinson; and grandchildren, Stephen Roso and wife, Jana, Matthew Roso, Josh Chambliss, Kathy and Andy Dolan, David Bunata, John Bunata, Laura Bunata; and many loving friends.
