Leland James "Jim" Cayey, 76, of Arlington passed away Sunday evening, June 28, 2015 in Arlington. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 pm on Monday, July 6, 2015 at Moore Funera Home Chapel. Private family scattering will occur at a later date at St. Maria Goretti Catholic Church. Jim was born August 13, 1938 in Colton, New York to Edward Cayey and Mary Cook Cayey. He joined the United States Air Force November 21, 1957 and performed air-crash rescue duties in various posts until he was honorably discharged September 25, 1961, receiving the Good Conduct Medal. Jim married Ann Elizabeth Arinsen June 6, 1964 in Syracuse, New York. She preceded him in death May 1, 2007 after 42 years of loving marriage. Jim joined American Airlines in Syracuse, New York in 1961. He moved to Arlington, Texas in 1981 with American Airlines, and retired after 36 years with the company in 1997. He married Judy Carolyn Rowland March 12, 2012 in Arlington. Jim enjoyed landscaping and being outdoors. He is survived by a daughter, Kristen Cayey and his wife, Judy Cayey.
