Lucas Rodriguez Rangel

Lucas is survived by his lovely bride of 62 years Delores L. Rangel of Arlington, Texas. Lucas was a loving father to Lucas L. Rangel, Jr., (Bonnie), Lucy Rangel-Reyes (late Ken Reyes), Mario Rangel (Lisa), Sandy Rangel-Woods (Ken Woods), and Becky Rangel.

Surviving siblings: Jessie Rangel, Angel Rangel and Sarah Rangel-Munoz of Lubbock, Texas.

Lucas was a Popo/Grandpa to 19 grandchildren; Shawna Rangel-Smith, Marie Smith (Troy Smith), Lucas M Rangel, III aka Trey (Annie); Stephanie Briceno (Jamie Briceno), Leroy Gonzales (Courtney), Alyssa Reyes; Adrian Pineda, Miranda Rangel, Mariah Rangel; Amber Norris (Steven Norris); Nicasio Rangel (Monica) and Angelique Rangel-Catano.

And 20 great grandchildren; Benjamin, Elizabeth; Brooke, Cassidy, Austin; Caden, Connor, Avery, Lucien, Micah; Jamie Jr., Matt; Molly, Drew; Gabriel, Landyn; Isaac; Hagen, Cooper; Rococo Celeste.

And 2 great-great grandchildren; Caden; Caden

Preceded in death were his parents: Aurora and Jose Rangel; siblings Joe Rangel, Sr., Janie Rangel-Lara, Mary Marcelino and beloved grandson Vincent Christopher Rangel.

Our father was a dedicated worker at Piccadilly Cafeteria for 45 years as a Head Baker. And later in life owned a janitorial and lawn service for commercial businesses.

Lucas Sr. was loved by all. He was funny and wise in his words. He was kind with a big giving heart. And he will be deeply missed by his family and friends.
